We understand the importance of networking with industry peers at the franc.2026 Conference. In addition to catering breaks between sessions, we have arranged two social functions as part of the conference program.

Attendance at social functions is included in some Full conference Registration Packages. Day registrations can also be purchased and additional social function tickets added at the time of registering.

The 2026 Awards for Excellence will celebrate the outstanding projects, people and organisations making a significant contribution to stormwater management and integrated water practices across NSW. The session recognises innovation, leadership, collaboration and technical excellence from across the industry, showcasing initiatives that are helping shape more resilient, sustainable and water sensitive communities. Attendees will have the opportunity to acknowledge and celebrate the achievements of peers and colleagues while connecting with industry leaders, project teams and partners from across the sector in a relaxed and celebratory atmosphere.

When the conference sessions wrap up, the networking continues at franc.fest! Join colleagues from across the stormwater industry for a fun and relaxed evening immediately following the Stormwater NSW Awards for Excellence. It's the perfect opportunity to celebrate the award winners, reconnect with familiar faces, make new connections, and keep the conversations flowing in a more informal setting.

Enjoy a selection of drinks and food platters throughout the evening as you mingle. Rather than a formal sit-down dinner, franc.fest is designed as a vibrant networking event where you can move around, catch up with colleagues, and meet new people at your own pace.

Embrace the theme with beachwear, tropical prints, sea creatures, surfers, sailors, pirates, mermaids, marine life or any other ocean-inspired outfit. Dressing up is completely optional—whether you come in full costume, add a fun themed accessory, or simply wear your usual conference attire, you'll be warmly welcomed.
